Dental Week Photo Journal 1/21-1/25/13

Did you know that Matt is a dentist now? Well, he isn't really, he would need 7 more years of training for that, but he is fully trained in the art of drilling and filling cavities with no electricity. Here is a photo recap of the week, 2 days of training + 2 days of doing in Mexico = cavity expert. (I was initially going to receive the training also but due to my first trimester state of queazy I wasn't comfortable being all up in peoples mouths. Next year, if possible, I hope to take the course while Matt takes care of baby.) 

Matt absolutely loved his time in Mexico, it was the first time in ministry to people from another country that he felt like he was fully able to serve someone without having to rely on a translator. It was a real life experience in how meeting physical needs transcends language barriers. We are excited to see how this dental outreach opens doors in the future in this village.

On the way home, there was quite the road block, a broken down John Deere. They couldn't get home unless it moved.

So when push comes to shove, it's time to PUSH!
