To Every Tribe

To Every Tribe has a passion for taking the Gospel to the unreached peoples of the world, fully persuaded that Jesus is worth it!

Vision and Mission,
To Every Tribe exists to extend the worship of Christ among all peoples by mobilizing the church, training disciplemakers, and sending missionary teams to plant churches among the unreached. The goal is the same as that which the Apostle Paul expressed  in Romans 1:5 and 15:20-21, namely to take the Gospel to places where it has not yet gone and to proclaim the message of faith in Christ to people who have not yet heard.  We look forward to the joyous day about which the Apostle John spoke in Revelation 5:9 when an untold number of worshipers from every tribe, and language and people and nation will assemble before the throne of God in joyous worship.  We resonate deeply with the heart-cry of the Psalmist: “Let the nations praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise you!  Let the nations be glad and sing for joy.” (Psalm 67:3-4)

Context,
Most of the easily accessible places and the more receptive groups already have some measure of Gospel witness.  So To Every Tribe intentionally goes to the more remote, isolated (and occasionally dangerous) locations and works among some of the more resistant (and occasionally hostile) peoples.

Strategy,
Church Planting — we seek to train obedience-oriented disciples who make other disciples by planting indigenous churches that are self-led, self-supporting, self-theologizing, and self-reproducing.
Pre-Field Training — we invest in extensive theological and missiological pre-field training of missionaries to equip them to thrive on the field and to enhance their ability to plant healthy churches.
Team Ministry — we are committed to ministry through communities of believers where individual gifts work together for the good and effectiveness of the whole, and model the body of Christ to unbelievers.

Location,
To Every Tribe church planting teams are currently deployed in the interior regions of Papua New Guinea and the remote southern highlands of Mexico.  Other locations and countries are under consideration.
